Laurin Schaub Keramik
With a broad understanding of the craft of ceramics, Laurin Schaub creates tableware and decorative objects. He is just as interested in traditional craftsmanship as he is in working with digital tools such as laptops and 3D printers. From a cup for morning coffee to a sound installation in a museum—Laurin finds his voice across various disciplines. His objects are handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces, usually conceived as series and conceptually grounded.
In addition to his own projects, Laurin has been running the PUUL label since 2020; this is a platform for collaboration with designers and artists. Together with Moritz Schmid, Dimitri Bähler, and Mara Tschudi, they have created three collections to date, which are continuously being produced and refined.
Kaiserhaus OF GOODS features a cross-section of Laurin’s work, with a focus on the Basic Collection and the Puul label. In addition, Laurin occasionally invites guests from his circle to showcase their ceramics.
